Today's child,
tomorrow's
healthier adult.
The Paediatric Innovation Fellowship is a 12-month intrapreneurship programme for clinicians who want to change how paediatric care is delivered: from inside the NHS, not outside of it. Hosted by Alder Hey Children's Hospital, designed to scale nationally.
Not a startup accelerator.
A national NHS innovation engine.
The Paediatric Innovation Fellowship is built for the clinician who wants to build change inside the system: new pathways, new services, new tools, adopted, scaled and measured within the NHS.
Paediatrics has been routinely under-served by adult-first innovation models. Children are not small adults. Their care, their data, their consent, their families and their outcomes need a fellowship of their own. Sponsor-backed, NHS-hosted, nationally open.
Intrapreneurship, not exit
Fellows build inside NHS Trusts. Success is adoption and impact, not equity.
Paediatric-first
Every module, mentor and case is rooted in children's healthcare, families, and life-course outcomes.

Fellow portfolios
Every fellow will build a public-facing portfolio of their projects, publications and adopted innovations. A permanent, verifiable record of NHS intrapreneurship.
